abstractsThe paraffin-embedded section lupus hand test(PS-LBT) and the fresh-frozen section lupus hand test(FS-LBT) were performed in matched-pair control studies in 42 patients in cluding 22 patients with systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE) and 20 casts of non-SLE patients.The results showed that the PS-LBT and the FS-LBT were highly correlated(r=0.78,P< 0.01) the PS-LBT was comparable to the PS-LBT in diagnostic sensitivity,specificity,accuracy and predictive values.
