abstractsEpoxyeicosatrienoic acid(EETs)are products of arachidonic acid generated by metabolic enzymes, cytochrome P450s. EETs can be hydrolized. To dihydroxyeicosatrienoic acids(DHETs)by soluble epoxide hydrolase(sEH), The concentration of EETs could be increased in cells through inhibiting the activity of sEH. EETs show important biological functions in various diseases including cardiovascular diseases, inflammation and injury.
