阴道毛滴虫病是全球范围内高发的性传播疾病之一,常无症状,并可导致不良的临床后果.阴道毛滴虫基因组学和蛋白组学研究发现了与毛滴虫-宿主相互作用及毛滴虫病发病机制有关的蛋白家族和新的表面蛋白.新的分子诊断技术提高了对阴道毛滴虫感染的流行情况及其与其他性病病原体相互作用的认识.目前该病未得到控制,且存在日益增多的耐药现象.建议对高危人群应用新诊断方法进行筛查.

Trichomoniasis is a highly prevalent sexually transmitted disease worldwide,which is often asymptomatic and has been associated with potentially serious sequelae.Recent genomic and proteomic studies have identified several protein families and novel surface proteins involved in host-pathogen interactions and trichomoniasis pathogenesis.Advances in molecular techniques for trichomoniasis diagnosis have led to a better understanding of the epidemiology of Trichomonas vaginalis infection,as well as of the interactions between T.vaginalis and other sexually transmitted disease pathogens.Trichomoniasis is poorly controlled at present and there has been increasing levels of drug resistance in T.vaginalis recently.Screening is strongly recommended for populations at high risk.
