abstractsMelanoma is a kind of skin cancer with high mortality.Identifying proteins associated with the initiation and progression of melanoma is beneficial to elucidating the pathogenesis of melanoma.Early diagnosis is important for effective treatment of melanoma.Recently, proteomics, including comparative proteomics and protein expression profiling, has been applied to researches into melanoma, which will help to clarify the functions of related cell signaling pathways, elucidate mechanisms underlying drug resistance in tumors, discover tumor markers, so as to facilitate early diagnosis as well as predilection of therapeutic efficacy and prognosis.
