abstractsPruritus is a common subjective skin symptom.Ten to fifty percent of adults present with different degrees of refractory pruritus,which greatly affects the physical and mental health of patients.Pruritus can be divided into two types,primary pruritus and pruritus secondary to various systemic diseases,such as renal insufficiency,cholestasis,hematologic disorders,malignancies,some infections,etc.Some scholars consider that pruritus is an early clinical manifestation of some systemic diseases,and may serve as an early clue to diagnosis of systemic diseases.
