摘要篇首: Neurocysticercosis (NCC) is a parasitic disease of the central nervous system (CNS) found world-wide.1 NCC is the most common cause of parasitic infection of CNS in China. Patients with NCC are treated successfully with chemotherapy. However, isolated cystic lesions sited in the cerebellum are usually treated by direct surgical excision as a primary therapeutic modality.2 We present here a case of isolated cerebellar vermis cysticercosis successfully treated with albendazole.
