摘要Clinical stage T1 renal masses are now a common type of urological tumor.Among them,twenty percent are benign and only about 20%-25% appear to be potentially aggressive.1,2 Historically,radical nephrectomy was considered to be the gold standard treatment for this kind of tumor.However,nephron-sparing surgeries,such as partial nephrectomy and thermal ablation,have emerged as recommendable strategies nowadays.Partial nephrectomy means to excise the entire tumor with clean margins and maximally preserve normal renal parenchyma to avoid chronic kidney disease (CKD).
