换一批摘要The citation impact of scientific articles is highly uneven,even within the same journal,following a log-normal distribution where 20％ of articles account for 80％ citations (the "20/80 law").1 It has also been suggested that half the literatures published is redundant as it is never cited.2 Therefore,many non-cited articles are published in scientific journals.In this article,the distribution of non-cited articles published in the Chinese Medical Journal (CMJ) in 2010 is reported aiming to provide evidence to guide the editorial work.
