Giant fibrothecoma arising in an accessory ovary of a pregnant woman

摘要To the editor:Accessory ovary is an uncommon congenital anomaly of the female reproductive tract.Tumors arising in accessory ovaries are extremely rare.In this report we described a case of a giant fibrothecoma at accessory ovary in a pregnant woman in her first trimester.A 27-year-old G1P0 woman,pregnant at 9 weeks' gestation,presented persistent abdominal pain for 28 hours.She denied fever,vaginal bleeding,dysuria or bloody stools.Her ultrasonography revealed a right-side pelvic solid mass measured 6.5 cm×5.8cm×4.5 cm 20 days ago.
