摘要To the editor:Endogenous bacterial endophthalmitis accounts for a small minority (2%-6%) of cases of endophthalmitis, but the visual outcome is almost always poor) Group B streptococcus (GBS)accounts for only 5.2% among 267 endogenous endophthalmitis cases,1 and only about 30 cases have been reported in literature. We describe a rare case of bilateral GBS endogenous endophthalmitis and suggest that GBS should be a leading suspect in bilateral endogenous endophthalmitis.
