摘要To the editor:A 25-year-old female patient was admitted to our hospital with complaint of nausea for one week.She had Addison's disease (AD) and Hashimoto tiroidits (HT) diagnoses for two years and she has been maintained under the treatment of prednisolone 10 mg per day,fludrocortisone 0.1 mg per day and levothyroxin sodium 100 mg per day.Routine biochemical examination,complete blood count,urine analysis and B-hCG were generally normal.Plasma levels of total cholesterol,low density lipoprotein-cholesterol,high density lipoprotein-cholesterol and triglyceride were respectively;80 mg/dl (＜200),26 mg/dl (＜100),4 mg/dl (40-60) and 251 mg/dl (＜150).Upper gastrointestinal endoscopy (GIE) showed that gastric mucosa were whitish colored as floured.Mucosal pattern showed fern-like pattern (Figure 1).Antrum was nodulary.Histopathologic examination showed findings of chronic Helicobacter pylori (Hp) gastritis and large foamy histiocytes within the lamina propria.CD68 immunohistochemical staining confirmed the diagnosis of gastric xanthoma.The patient was given quadruple eradication therapy with bismuth subcitrate.
