摘要To the editor:Gastric duplications are relatively rare congenital anomalies of the alimentary tract, and most of them have been reported in children.' The majority of them have a cystic or tubular structure, communicating or non-communicating with the gastric lumen.2 Here we present a rare case of gastric duplication manifesting as a multilocular cystic lesion, which had been misdiagnosed as a solid mass by pre-operative imaging techniques.A 71-year-old woman had recurrent epigastric pain for one month without history of nausea, vomiting,or weight loss. The history of past illness was unremarkable.Computerized tomography (CT) scan revealed a 26 mm × 22 mm-sized mass located in the fundus of the stomach and that originated from the layer of the submucosa (Figure 1A).Gastroscopy and endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) revealed a lesion protruding into the gastric fundus.
