换一批摘要The aging population has led to increasing number of patients with spinal deformities.Such deformities can be congenital,idiopathic,or inflammatory in origin and can be functionally and psychologically debilitating.Osteotomies could be lifesaving procedures for some severe deformities.Currently,various osteotomy techniques have been applied to treat spinal deformities.The goals of surgery are to obtain a satisfactory balance in both the sagittal and coronal planes,create a solid fusion with a balanced spine,relieve pain,and prevent further deformity.
