换一批摘要Lumbar intervertebral disc protrusion (LIDP) is rare in the young. The authors reported 9 cases of LIDP occurred below 16 years, among them 5 were confirmed with surgery. The operative findings were rupture of the cartilaginous plate leading to protrusion of annulus fibrosis and nucleus pulposis into the spinal canal, a picture which was distinctly different from LIDP in adults. A discussion was given to the pathogenesis, diagnosis and method of treatment.
