人工智能在睡眠呼吸暂停诊疗领域的应用与展望
Applications and prospects of artificial intelligence in the diagnosis and treatment of obstructive sleep apnea
摘要阻塞性睡眠呼吸暂停(obstructive sleep apnea,OSA)全球疾病负担日益加重,其与心血管疾病、代谢综合征及认知功能障碍等密切关联。实现早期筛查、精准治疗及全病程管理等全方位提升迫在眉睫。面对庞大的群体诊治需求,传统监测和治疗手段显然无法满足,人工智能(artificial intelligence,AI)的发展为解决这一问题带来希望。本文首先介绍AI的基本知识及其在医学中的应用,并总结了AI在OSA领域的应用进展。AI应用的内涵和外延宽泛,未来需进一步细化在OSA领域的应用,包括预防、精准诊断、个体化治疗及管理等。同时,顺应AI迭代,不断探索新方向及新策略。

abstractsObstructive sleep apnea (OSA) brings health burden globally due to its association with cardiovascular disorders, metabolic syndrome, and cognitive dysfunction, etc. The unmet needs of OSA include early screening, precision therapy, and comprehensive management. Current approaches of monitoring and treatment can't meet the demands of the high prevalence of OSA among population. Fortunately, the development of artificial intelligence (AI) now offers a way to address this challenge. In this article, we first introduced the fundamentals and medical applications of AI. Then, the progress of AI applications in OSA was summarized. Finally, we discussed the future use of AI in OSA, including prevention strategies, precise diagnosis, individualized treatment, and management. Meanwhile, we should keep pace with the iterative development of AI, exploring new directions and strategies.
