摘要篇首： Patients with a variety of conditions including demyelination，viral infection，subacute stroke，abscess，brain lymphoma and metastatic cancers may present with mass-like abnormality on brain MRI that “mimic"from primary brain tumors such as high grade gliomas (HGG)．Substantial ongoing advanced MRI research is directed to this problem，but although recent advances and ongoing research on DSC perfusion，DCE perfusion，DWI，DTI，MR Spectroscopy，and PET has substantially increased the certainty of pre．operative diagnosis and tUlTlOr grading in many cases，the published specificity of such techniques generally does not exceed 90％．
