摘要Objective: Determining and comparing the content of tannins and total flavonoids in three authentic Geranium, it can provide the scientific basis for formulating the quality stardard of Geranium.Method: UV was used to determine the content of tannins and total flavonoids,reference substances were gallic acid and hyperin, determining the content of tannins and total flavonoids with the detection wavelength at 760nm and 350nm.Result: To compare the content of tannins and total flavonoids in three authentic Geranium can obtain the result, Geranium carolinianum L.> Erodium stephanianum Willd.>Geranium wilfordii Maxim.Conclution: The determination method is accurate, simple, and reproducible to provide the scientific basis for taking on accurately of Geranium from pharmacopoeia.
