摘要Purpose: Computed tomography (CT) has been widely applied in medical domain.Meanwhile, the excessive radiation dose delivered to the patients has caused great concerns.Limited-angle CT scan is an effective way to reduce the radiation dose.However, conventional filtered back-projection (FBP)algorithm leads to significant streak artifacts and artifacts nearby edges in this case.Iterative reconstruction methods (such as algebraic reconstruction technique (ART) or simultaneous algebraic reconstruction technique (SART)) have potential to reconstruct better images when the projection data is incomplete.However, reconstructed images still contain conspicuous artifacts.More advanced methods are needed urgently.
