Two ‘sibling disorders’ have been proposed for the 11th version of the International Classification of Diseases (ICD-11): Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Complex PTSD (CPTSD).? The definition of CPTSD includes the six PTSD symptoms but is distinguished from PTSD on the basis of an additional set of symptoms that reflect ‘Disturbances in Self-Organization’ (DSO).? DSO symptoms are defined by three clusters: (1) affective dysregulation (AD), (2) negative self-concept (NSC), and (3) disturbances in relationships (DR).? This study assessed the performance of 16 DSO symptom indicators from the International Trauma Questionnaire.
