换一批摘要篇首： TUBERCULOSIS (TB) remains one of the leading causes of preventable morbidity and mortality from infectious disease worldwide.1 It is a chronic progressive granulomatous infection caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis (M.tuberculosis).Ocular involvement in patients with systemic TB has traditionally been considered uncommon.The incidence of ocular TB was reported to be 1.46% among 10 524 patients in a TB sanatorium2 and there are only few reports of choroidal tuberculoma in the literature .3-5 Here we reported a case of choroidal tuberculoma in an immunocompetent young patient with a history of tuberculous pleurisy.
