abstractsExtended endoscopic sinus surgery (EESS) is an improved procedure based on Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery (FESS).It's aim to remove lesions and enlarge sinus ostium more extensively,and provide greater drainage pathway,facilitate effective postoperative monitoring and local drug administration,and thus reduce recurrence.EESS is mainly used in the treatment of refractory rhinosinusitis and nasal polyps with asthma,allergies,cilia dysfunction and so on.
