abstractsRecently,the American Thyroid Association and American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists published"Hyperthyroidism and other causes of thyrotoxicosis:management guidelines of the American Thyroid Association and American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists",and created 100 evidencebased recommendations.The guideline systematically introduced the diagnoses and therapies of hyperthyroidism,emphasizing the indications,contraindications,preparations,methodologies and follow-up strategies.The guideline also provided detailed management principles for hyperthyroidism in children and pregnancy,Graves' ophthalmopathy and some unusual causes of hyperthyroidism.
