The role of alternative polyadenylation related stress regulation involved in colorectal cancer

abstractsWith the increasing incidence rate and mortality of cancer in Chinese population, cancer has become the main cause of death for urban and rural residents in China. Among which colorectal cancer (CRC) is the second highest incidence of cancer related deaths. Exploring the pathogenesis and development of CRC, as well as finding new tumor treatment methods is of great significance to the treatment and prognosis of CRC. The occurrence and development of CRC are closely related to many factors. The stress regulation involving alternative polyadenylation (APA) plays an important role in the occurrence and development of tumors. This review summarizes the network relationship between APA, stress and CRC, as well as the role of RNA binding proteins in the APA process in stress and tumor development.
