摘要p14ARF是近年来发现的抑癌基因之一,其通过p53、Rb及促分裂原活化蛋白激酶这3条相互独立的通道在细胞周期的调控中发挥作用。研究表明,p14ARF在包括皮肤恶性肿瘤在内的多种恶性肿瘤中的表达均有显著下调。p14ARF的功能失活的机制主要包括基因的甲基化、基因缺失和突变,其中以甲基化最为常见。目前科学家将p14ARF作为治疗恶性肿瘤的靶向之一进行了有益的探索,并取得了初步成果。

abstractsP14ARF is a newly discovered tumor-suppressor gene that regulates cell cycle through three independent pathways, i.e., p53, Rb and mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK). It has been revealed that the expression of p14ARF is downregulated in many malignant tumors including cutaneous malignancies. p14ARF may be inactivated by gene methylation, deletion and mutation, of which, methylation is the most common. At present, scientists are attempting to use p14ARF as a target to treat malignant tumors and have made initial progress.
