摘要组蛋白赖氨酸甲基化是生物体中一种普遍而重要的表遗传修饰方式,常发生在H3和H4号组蛋白赖氨酸残基上,由组蛋白赖氨酸甲基转移酶(histone lysine methyltransfereses,HKMT)完成.近年来随着对多种甲基转移酶结构及功能的不断研究,使得对组蛋白甲基化修饰有了更深一步的认识.不同的甲基转移酶对基因转录的表达各不相同,该文拟从组蛋白赖氨酸甲基转移酶的分类、空间结构、调控功能等方面作一综述,阐述这一领域的研究进展.

abstractsMethylation on lysine residue of histone protein is a general but important modification which usually happens on histone 3 or histone 4. Recent advances in studying structure and function of methyltransferases during the past years, more and more information has been obtained about the histone methylation modification.Different kinds of methyltransferases have different effects on gene transcription. This article reviews methyltransferases and their classifications, structure and regulation function, and elaborates the research advances in this field.
