abstractsLiver regeneration phosphatase-3 (PRL-3)is one member of protein tyrosine phosphatase family involved in tumor metastasis, which can promote cell proliferation, adhesion, invasion and metastasis. PRL-3 is suggested as an attractive target for treatment of tumor metastasis,especially for treatment of liver metastasis of colorectal cancer. Our review focuses on recent advances about structure and function of PRL-3,its possible signal pathway involved in tumor metastasis.
