abstractsThis article reviewed development and current situation of Complementary and Alternative Medicine(CAM) in developed countries such as european countries, Japan, South Korea, Australia and the United States of recent years. The items included in this study were the situation of medical treatment, construction of medical institutions and associations, medical cost and the insurance. The article also made a suggestion on the development of TCM in China in order to ensure her leading role in the field of traditional medicine in the world.
