abstractsThis article briefly reviews the development of Traditional Chinese Medicine Thesaurus of China. As a professional thesaurus on TCM, its status and role in the database construction, literature retrieval, cataloging, periodicals indexing and information standardization were discussed. Its significance in the medical information organization, and data resource integration were described in this paper.
