An antibody against Siglec-15 promotes bone formation and fracture healing by increasing TRAP+mononuclear cells and PDGF-BB secretion
摘要INTRODUCTIONSiglec-15 is a member of the sialic acid-binding immunoglobulintype lectin (Siglecs) family, a group of cell-surface receptors that potentially regulate the adaptive immune response via cell–cell interactions with target cells through their sialic acid-binding Nterminal Ig-like V-type domain. Unlike most other Siglec family members, Siglec-15 has been conserved throughout vertebrate evolution and is expressed primarily by macrophages and dendritic cells.1 Previous studies have shown that the expression of Siglec-15 is upregulated in mature osteoclasts.
