摘要Dear Editor, Dengue virus (DENV, family Flaviviridae , genus Flavivirus) serotypes 1 to 4 (DENV-1, -2, -3, and -4) are responsible for more than 100 million infections per year worldwide. Symptoms of DENV infection can be diverse, reaching from an acute febrile illness to the more severe, sometimes fatal dengue haemorrhagic fever/dengue shock syndrome. After the primary infection, lifelong immunity against a specific serotype is built.
