摘要Climate change is one of the biggest issues facing humanity.Governments, private sectors, nongovernmental organizations, and individuals are work-ing daily to find solutions to counter and mitigate its influence. An underdis-cussed issue is the effect that climate has on health, and the impact that environmental and atmospheric change can have on communities, medical care access, and ecology. Here,Alan Dangour from the Wellcome Trust me-diates a discussion between George Fu Gao,hLife Editor-in-Chief,and the former Director-General of Chinese Center for Disease Control and Preven-tion,Desta Lakewfrom African Medical and Research Foundation, and Alaa Murabitfrom the Gates Foundation,on this area of health and climate. They discuss how a changing climate can affect health, the work that has already been done to address these problems, and the innovations and steps that need to be made to fully tackle climate-related health issues, with a consensus that health should be at the center of all considerations.
