abstractsStatus epilepticus(SE)is one of the most common medical emergencies in children.There has been some recent understanding of this fife-threatening condition with reference to the definition,forms of ignorable seizure,drug treatment and role of EEG monitoring.This review discusses the current information regarding the definition,diagnosis,treatment of status epilepticus and the latest advance on management of refractory SE in children.
