摘要本文介绍了对安徽省4所医学本科院校的学生进行的有关英语教师专业素质的内涵与发展的问卷调查结果,从学生的专业需求角度阐述了医学院校英语教师专业素质的内涵,通过分析调查数据对英语教学工作进行了自我反省,讨论了医学院校英语教师的职业发展途径,为开展有目的 的、有针对性的和有实效的师资培训和教师职业发展提供了参考.

abstractsIn this paper a survey has been conducted among several grades of students in 4 medical schools in Anhui Province about the professional qualities of English teachers in medical schools. From the students' perspective, the survey focuses on contemplating our work and on what qualities English teachers in medical schools should have and what we can do to cultivate the qualities. And most of all, it provides valuable references to the purposeful, oriented, and effective teachers training and development in medical schools.
