Anatomical plate and steel wire for fractures of the ulnar olecranon and coronoid process: 1 case report
摘要Fractures of the ulnar olecranon and coronoid process rarely occur clinically, usually combined with elbow dislocation, radial head fracture, collateral ligamentous injury, et al. However, there is still the possibility this kind of fractures come up independently. They belong to intra-articular fractures, so many complications happen postoperatively, such as traumatic arthritis, anchylosis and so on. A male patient with combined olecranon fractures of the ulna and coronoid process fractures ( 21-B1.3 ) were treated, without elbow dislocation or radial head fracture. Dorsal anatomical plate and tension-band wire were used by a single posterior approach, and satisfactory results were achieved.
