摘要Spinal pseudomeningoceles are rare extradural collections of cerebrospinal fluid(CSF)that result from unintended durotomy during lumbar spine surgery.1Most pseudomeningoceles are asymptomatic, but some patients may present with recurrence of preoperative symptoms. In rare cases, delayed myelopathy can also be observed.Among spinal pseudomeningoceles, ossified pseudomeningoceles are even rarer, and to the best of our knowledge, only a few cases have been described in the literature. Here,we report a rare case of ossified pseudomeningocele that developed 20 years after laminectomy and discectomy for lumbar intervertebral disc herniation at L5-S1,which resulted in lumbar spinal stenosis at L5-S1.Pseudomeninogocele was discovered during magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)for recurrent sciatic pain and intermittent claudication. The surgical findings and histopathological examination confirmed this unusual diagnosis.
