abstractsThe incidence of hypoglycemic events in patients with type 2 diabetes around the period of fasting in Ramadan was compared under the treatment with combined insulin glargine and glimepiride. The results showed that the number of hypoglycemic events in patients with type 2 diabetes before, during and after the period of fasting in Ramadan was not different (P=0.238).
