abstractsHypoglycemia is the most common complication of the treatment for diabetes mellitus. Current studies suggest that recurrent hypoglycemia induces impaired awareness of hypoglycemia in diabetes by the failure of sympathetic nerve response or other mechanisms, which increases the risk of severe hypoglycemia and hypoglycemic fear in diabetics. Therefore, exploring the pathogenesis and preventive measures of impaired awareness of hypoglycemia is expected to provide new ideas for reducing severe hypoglycemia events and conducting subsequent studies.
