Effect of circadian rhythmicity oscillation in organ ischemia-reperfusion injury

abstractsCircadian rhythmicity (CR) is involved in the regulation of the central and peripheral organs of the human, and plays a key role in human physiological and pathological state. Ischemia-reperfusion (I/R) is characterized by an initial restriction of blood supply to a tissue followed by the subsequent restoration of perfusion which causes an exacerbation of tissue injury. The incidence of ischemia-reperfusion injury in various organs is high, which seriously endangers human health. Studies have found that circadian oscillation has an important impact on the occurrence and severity of organ ischemia-reperfusion injury. The related signaling pathways can be used as therapeutic targets, with potential application value, but there are not comprehensive summaries. We reviewed the studies on circadian oscillation and ischemia-reperfusion injury, summarized the related signaling molecular pathways, and provided new ideas for the prevention and treatment of ischemia-reperfusion injury.
