The development situation, challenges and future prospects of artificial intelligence-driven brain-computer interfaces
摘要脑机接口(BCI)充当着大脑和外部设备的信息传递桥梁,当下正处于快速发展时期。人工智能(AI)同BCI紧密关联,相互协作冲破了传统线性解码的局限,使BCI能够深入领会人的意图,从脑电信号中重现图像和语言信息来辅助解码输出信息。本文论述了AI驱动的BCI的关键技术,包含信号降噪与解码、感知重构以及数字孪生等内容,剖析这些技术在医疗康复、认知监测、疾病诊疗以及手术辅助方面的状况,探究其发展过程中遭遇的问题,并对AI推动的BCI的发展进行展望。

abstractsThe brain-computer interface (BCI) serves as a bridge for information transmission between the brain and external devices. Currently, it is in a period of rapid development. Artificial intelligence (AI) is closely related to BCI, breaking through the limitations of traditional linear decoding and being able to deeply understand human intentions. It faithfully reproduces image and language information from brain signals to assist in decoding and outputting information. This paper discusses the key technologies of AI-driven BCI, including signal noise reduction and decoding, perceptual reconstruction, and digital twin, analyzes the status of these technologies in medical rehabilitation, cognitive monitoring, disease diagnosis and treatment, and surgical assistance, explores the problems encountered during its development, and looks forward to the development of AI-driven BCI.
