摘要α晶状体蛋白是构成晶状体的重要结构蛋白,属于小分子热休克蛋白家族,具有热休克蛋白的共性,同时有保护视网膜神经节细胞的作用.近年来相继有多篇α晶状体蛋白对视网膜神经节细胞保护机制的研究成果发表,引起了相关研究者的关注.因此,有必要就α晶状体蛋白的生物学特性与功能、α晶状体蛋白保护视网膜神经节细胞的作用机制进行综述,旨在为视神经损伤的理论研究和临床治疗提供参考依据.

abstractsα-crystallin is the predominant structural protein in the lens. It is a member of small heat shock proteins (sHsps)and has the common functions of sHsps. Α-crystallin also plays important roles in the protection of retinal ganglion cells (RGCs). Studying the protection mechanism significantly contributes to the theory and therapy of optic nerve injury. This review is focused on biological characteristics and functions of a-crystallin and the protection mechanism of α-crystallin towards RGCs.
