摘要葡萄膜炎是一类常见的致盲性眼病，病因复杂，种类繁多。我国葡萄膜炎作为独立专业开始于20世纪80年代，经历了从无到有、由弱变强的过程，尤其近30年，有关葡萄膜炎的临床和基础研究日益广泛和深入，经过几代人的努力取得长足发展，获得丰硕成果，在国际葡萄膜炎领域已有一席之地。展望未来，任重而道远，尚需再接再厉，将我国葡萄膜炎诊疗和研究水平推向新的高度。谨以此文祝贺《中华眼科杂志》创刊70周年。 （中华眼科杂志，2020，56：881-890）

abstractsUveitis is one of the most common causes of blindness worldwide. Clinical and basic studies on uveitis began in the 1980s in China. With the efforts of several generations, great progress has been made in the last 30 years with a global reputation. However, there are still challenges concerning the prevention and treatment of uveitis as well as the elucidation of the mechanisms underlying this disease. Therefore, we should continuously push the uveitis subspecialty in China to a new level. The achievements obtained in the uveitis studies during the past decades are offered as a gift to the 70th anniversary of the Chinese Journal of Ophthalmology. (Chin J Ophthalmol, 2020, 56:881-890)
