摘要英国为了解决护士队伍短缺问题进行健康助理员(health care assistant,HCA)的培养和配置,积累了丰富的经验.作者介绍了英国HCA职业的准入要求及职业生涯发展概况.其准入要求包括素质要求、基础培训及教育要求、执业证书培训和效果评价;职业生涯发展包括岗位等级晋级和转岗为临床护士.针对我国现行的护理助理岗位的设置现状,提供了可借鉴学习的经验.

abstractsThe United Kingdom is highly experienced in the career development and deployment of health care assistants ( HCA) to cope with shortage of nurses. This paper introduced the HCA entry requirements and career development in UK. The entry requirements include quality requirements, basic training and education requirements, practice certificate training and effect evaluation. Career development includes job promotion and transfer to clinical nurses. In view of the current situation of nursing assistant position in China, this paper made valuable recommendations.
