摘要In the realm of precision psychiatry of mood disorders, the evolution of interpersonal psychotherapy(IPT)is gaining momentum, necessitating a personalized approach that also takes into account cultural aspects. This study underscores the importance of incorporating cultural factors into the dissemination and application of IPT in Asia.Through a comprehensive analysis of a case illuminating how cultural influences impact the onset and treatment outcomes of depression,we emphasize the critical need for culturally informed IPT practices in China. This personalized approach not only enhances treatment outcomes but also paves the way for further research on adapting IPT to diverse cultural contexts in Asia.
