miR-25表达与糖尿病视网膜病变患者血清ET-1、AGEs水平及病情严重程度的相关性

Correlation of expression of miR-25 with serum levels of ET-1 and AGEs, and disease severity of patients with diabetic retinopathy

摘要目的:探讨微小RNA-25(miR-25)与糖尿病视网膜病变(DR)患者血清内皮素-1(ET-1)、晚期糖基化终末产物(AGEs)水平及病情严重程度的相关性。方法:回顾性抽取2020年3月至2023年3月河南科技大学第一附属医院收治的糖尿病患者141例,依据眼部并发症情况分为非DR组(51例)、非增殖期DR组(48例)及增殖期DR组(42例),另抽取同期健康体检者40例为对照组。比较四组临床资料及血清miR-25、ET-1、AGEs水平,采用Pearson检验分析miR-25表达与DR患者血清ET-1、AGEs水平及病情严重程度的相关性。结果:四组空腹血糖、糖化血红蛋白(HbA1c)、低密度脂蛋白胆固醇(LDL-C)、三酰甘油、ET-1、AGEs水平逐渐升高,高密度脂蛋白胆固醇(HDL-C)、miR-25水平逐渐降低,依次为对照组、非DR组、非增殖期DR组、增殖期DR组( P<0.05)。miR-25与ET-1水平、AGEs水平、DR病情严重程度呈负相关( r=-0.60、-0.76、-0.72, P均<0.05)。 结论:miR-25表达与DR患者病情严重程度、血清ET-1和AGEs水平具有显著相关性。

abstractsObjective:To investigate the correlation of expression of microRNA-25 (miR-25) with serum endothelin-1 (ET-1) level, advanced glycation end-products (AGEs) level, and disease severity of patients with diabetic retinopathy (DR).Methods:A total of 141 diabetic patients admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Henan University of Science and Technology from March 2020 to March 2023 were selected. According to the development of ocular complications, the patients were divided into non-DR group (51 cases), non-proliferative DR group (48 cases) and proliferative DR group (42 cases). At the same time, 40 healthy subjects were selected as the control group. The clinical data and serum levels of miR-25, ET-1 and AGEs in the four groups were compared. The correlations of miR-25 with serum ET-1 level, AGEs level and disease severity in DR patients were analyzed by Pearson tests. Logistic regression analysis was used to analyze the influencing factors of the course of DR.Results:Among the four groups, the levels of fasting blood glucose, glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA1c), low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), triacylglycerol, ET-1 and AGEs gradually increased in the order as following: control group, non-DR group, non-proliferative DR group, and proliferative DR group, moreover, the levels of high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) and miR-25 gradually decreased in the same order ( P<0.05). miR-25 was negatively correlated with the levels of ET-1 and AGEs, and the severity of DR ( r=-0.60, -0.76, -0.72; all P<0.05). Conclusions:miR-25 has significant correlations with disease severity and serum levels of ET-1 and AGEs in DR patients.
