Teeth, artificial.-The two parts of a dental flask are adapted to be held securely together with the composition under varying pressures, by hooks pivoted on one part and engaging a series of teeth on the other part. One curved tooth may be used in place of a series. The top and bottom parts A, A' of the flask have guides C and projections B which ensure the correct alinement of the parts. Spring hooks D are pivoted to the part A, and have projections which engage with the teeth of racks E and which can swung clear thereof by a side movement as shown in Fig. 2. On pressing the two parts together, the hooks engage successive teeth, the inclination or eccentricity of which affords extra compression at each step.
